You ask, we answer. Sometimes we ask, others answer. And then other times, we ask, we answer.
Throughout the Ohio State football season, we will be asking and answering questions about the team, college football, and anything else on our collective minds of varying degrees of importance. If you have a question that you would like to ask, you can tweet us @LandGrant33 or if you need more than 280 characters, send an email HERE.
Preseason camp is all about players and coaches getting things figured out so that they can be firing on all cylinders when games finally begin. Part of that process is figuring out who is going to be playing where, when and how often players will be on the field, and what exactly they will be asked to do.
While the Buckeye coaching staff is certainly gathering all of the info they need, there are some still outstanding questions that fans likely have. So, in this week’s fan survey, we are putting a couple of questions to you to see where your collective heads are at. So, take a look below and make sure to register your vote in the survey. Then, if you have additional thoughts, hit up the comments at the bottom of the page!
Thankfully, the offseason and start of preseason camp have been pretty quiet and uneventful for the Buckeyes. Now in Week 2 of training camp, the questions and concerns are relatively limited, especially compared to last year. While there are a few position battles still to be decided (more on that below), rotational strategy to be determined, and a few other little things, the Buckeyes are in a pretty good position one week into August.
However, we know that that won’t stop Buckeye Nation from wanting even more info to have the best possible insight into their favorite team. So, is it who is going to be the starting QB? Right guard? How are Ryan Day and Chip Kelly going to get both TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins snaps?
Weigh in on the thing you are most hoping to learn from camp in the survey below.
It seems like an inevitability that Will Howard will eventually be named Ohio State’s starting quarterback, so that really only leaves one significant position battle to be decided over the course of preseason camp. With Josh Simmons and Donovan Jackson locked in on the left side of the line, Alabama transfer Seth McLoughlin holding down the center position, and Josh Fryer at right tackle, the right offensive guard spot is essentially all that’s left.
In the competition are last year’s starting center Carson Hinzman and third-year player Tegra Tshbola. Hinzman has an experience advantage while Tshbola is a more impressive physical athlete. Both have their pros and both have their cons. So, who do you think will end up completing the offensive line configuration this season?

Question 1: What do you most want to learn from preseason camp?

Question 2: Who do you think will end up being OSU’s starting right guard?
