What book or book series would you like to see made into a movie?

Any Tom Robbins book, particularly Still Life with Woodpecker.

I don't know about. I can't imagine his work translating to the big screen very well. The books are so focused on metaphord, wording, and the art of writing and so NOT focused on plot that I just can't imagine that a movie would be enjoyable. That might just be me, though. :tongue2:

Even Cowgirls Get the Blues was made into a movie with the soundtrack done by k.d. lang. I have no idea if the movie was any good. Lots of famous people in the cast, though.

Even Cowgirls Get the Blues wasn't so good. I mean, it wasn't bad, but if you're expecting Tom Robbins... forget it...

Gotta agree with Sir Katt that a movie could never do his work justice. The man is a master with words.

I watched part of it once. It was crap. It takes a lot to make me turn off a movie with Uma Thurman in it, but that one did the trick. What a waste of talent.

To answer the question of the thread, I'm looking forward to Rainbow Six. Unfortunately, it's in limbo right now.
