What Are Your Hobbies?

As always, merge this if it is a duplicate thread. I searched and couldn’t find one, which amazes me.

Next, I figured since I have picked up a new hobby it was time to find out what hobbies other BPers have.

The new hobby for me is tennis. All I know is old people continue to play it, they make it look easy and I am not going to be dominating the circuit anytime soon. It sure does burn the calories though.

Now, let’s see if this thread can stay on the rails:-)

My only racquetball story. Dated a girl in college who took me to play once. She was really good and gave me a couple of killer tips. Fast forward a few months and I am dating another girl who wants to play because she took racquetball as her gym elective. Let's just say the killer tips from an experienced player were more beneficial than what the other learned in a class.

My racquetball story... in my 20s I was really getting good.. so I entered a tournament...
I hit some of the most devastating kill shots of my life... only to watch my kill shots not only returned but true kill shots in return of my kill shots...

The difference between me and truly good racquetballers was planetary... I got crushed... Did not win a match..
Reality can be such a mean concept

Funny hearing talk of racquetball, I haven’t played since the oversized racquet became popular. What was the point. Used to really enjoy it and play in a league.

Long walks on the beach, a beautiful sunset….wait wait wrong thread…

Golf, have really gotten into a solid exercise/weight lifting routine, smoking meat/BBQ

Golf is a more old man friendly sport. After 50 if you're not in tip top shape racquetball will put you out of commission for a few days.
