Recently discovered The Good Place.

Holy shirt, I love this forking show.

Amen to that. Phenomenal, and unlike many NBC comedies, it's pretty accessible across the generations (I know almost no one my parent's age that enjoyed Community, The Office, Parks, etc).

I'm still a little concerned about the hectic pace they've been on with this plot (as they've raced through entire chapters in a few episodes, or an intro ), but maybe this has all been a setup for what's next.

Watched the first and it (even as I've always been a history nerd) is borderline dirt boring. Even the excessive violence (torture of a naked old woman and drawing/quartering of a Catholic priest neophyte) wasn't as shocking as much as could-we-just-move-it-along. That said, I'll probably watch the second episode today.

A month after SCP Auctions put it up for a sale, a statue of Hollywood's on-screen boxing icon has landed in the hands of Rocky himself. Sylvester Stallone, the headliner of Rocky's seven-film series, acquired the statue for just over $400,000, TMZ reported this week, and he's already relocated it to his Los Angeles home.

Just finished up the Netflix series “Godless”. It’s a short series about Frontier mining town consisting mostly of woman, an outlaw gang and the law. Jeff Daniels is masterful has the head outlaw. I recommend it especially if you like Westerns.

Stalone was recently in my home town to film a movie for a while. He offered some random family $16k a week to rent their house while he was in town -- they were like cool

Technically, it's a movie, but it's on TV because it's about 15 years old. Very strange little film called No Such Thing. A "monster" that seems to perhaps be Satan lives on a rock on the coast in a place that looks like Iceland, maybe. He can't die and wants to. Girl reporter-wannabe goes looking for her fiance that the monster apparently killed. It's all just very, very odd.

Instead of watching the NC game last night, binged a bunch of episodes of Glow on Netflix last night. Overall from what I have watched so far it was a good. Plus you get to see Allison Brie's boobs
