Third-down tailback Jason Gwaltney not only missed three games with an MCL sprain, but he apparently missed a few academic requirements as well.
West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez said Gwaltney won't play the final two regular-season games, Pitt and South Florida Dec. 3, because of academic deficiencies. But he left open the possibility of Gwaltney participating in a bowl game.
Man he has been sour grapes ever since we started to hear about him and his recruitment.
I am pretty sure i read somehwere that he expected to run for about 1500 yards in the WVU offense....he better have a good game in the bowl game to reach those #'s :ohwell:
