West Virginia/JUCO/C.W. Post/Kean RB Jason Gwaltney (official thread)

Cleve, I know of a few recruits that have played with the fans of another school just to get a kick out of it. Gwaltney seems like the kind of guy that would do in good humor. If those retards over on B-nuts said a bunch of crap about me I'd play with their little minds also, then commit to another school and laugh about it.

I agree he was talking to Cushing, I would guess because he is a Jersey kid and close to Long Island...this kid is USC's all the way IMO. He mentions talking to Sanchez but doesn't say anything about talking to the OSU commits...

Well, I think the whole recruiting players to go to his college totally diminishes any chance WVU had of keeping him. You never know though about players going to tOSU, maybe he talked a few guys into coming that diodn't have us high on their list going into the game. Maybe we will hear a few surprises in the next 2.5 weeks that will throw us all for a loop. I can only hope and pray we bring in Gwaltney and a few other guys that will round out this class ratehr nicely.

I still think there is a definite long shot chance on Gwaltney. The "recruiting others" comment cant' be explained away to either school very well, tho it seems more likely to be a USC comment. Who knows, maybe JamO and Gwaltney got McKinney or someone on board.

I'm holding out reserved hope on Wednesday. Personally, I saw him as gone to USC until I heard those comments. They didn't make me feel as tho he was now leaning buckeyes, it rather gave me a tiny reason to hope he wasn't headed to USC.

It baffles me how a kid can move so far away from family and friends. It makes it much more difficult for family to see him play unless they are making some big dollare to fly to SC every week. Of course, that may not be important to JG.
