It appears WVU has given up on Gwaltney,they got another RB from Florida which gives them 3(not counting Berry).Although USC seems to be the popular choice,he has said that distance is important to him and you can't get any more distant than la la land.

USC is loaded at running back and I just don't see the reasoning if he wants to stay close to home and play early, that critirea doesnt fit USC

Scooter Berry is listed as 6-3 245 lbs. and was Gwaltney's lead back. Not exactly a prototypical RB...he sounds more like a high school FB in a DE's body...or maybe he ends up at FB.

Collington is also awfully big at 5-11 200+ lbs. and could end up as a FB as well.

Slaton seems to be the only true RB committed to WVU so far...

Gwaltney's All-American Diary

He was worried about not having enough free time to see the sites, but that hasn't been the case so far. They are getting the royal treatment down there.

He has been hanging out the most with Patrick Turner, Nyan Boateng, and Brian Cushing. He says that guys that are committed do their best to recruit you to their school while the uncommitted guys always talk about all going to the same school.

Eugene Monroe and Mark Sanchez are two of the guys that have been in his ear so far this week.

Tom Lemming: (1:19 PM ET ) Yes. He is not as big as the other backs but he has great vision and quickness which will more than ompenstate for his lack of size.

Turner has recently stated that USC, Tennessee, and Miami are his final three, with USC and UT slightly out in front.

Cushing and his ego are probably headed to USC.

Boateng is leaning towards Florida.

I really don't care where he goes, but he is one of my favorite recruits with this quote. C'mon Jason be a buckeye and you can beat scUM up 4 times while your here.

now early PT isnt that important. SC told him that bush and white will be leaving early and he could play as a sophmore, and he says he wants to make an impact in his sophmore year. he was impressed with caroll calling him at
2:00 am.

the writing is on the wall.
