West Virginia at CONNECTICUT (Friday)

I can only dream of a scenario where we play WVU in the national championship. Our defensive line would demolish theirs and our speed at LB and Safety would completely nullify their presense to get to the edge. It would be an ass kicking of epic proportions.... and I don't think that about many teams.

I would love to see WVU play a team with a solid defense. They'll play a couple teams with a good offense, but no one with premier defense. Yea, they're a good team, but I really don't think they would do well against OSU, UM, Tennessee, Texas, or Florida. I think they would have a shot against teams like Notre Dame, USC, Louisville, and California. However, out of those, I think WVU should only be favored against Cal.

Oh btw, I'm a big winnah!

I would just like to point out that West Virginia's next game will be played in November, and they currently have not yet beaten a team in their conference that has won a game in that conference.

They have two conference wins, over Syracuse and Connecticut, both of whom have yet to win a Big East game.

But their impressive list of non-conference wins over Marshall, Eastern Washington, Maryland, East Carolina, and Mississippi State have indicated to two guys in California that they're the #1 team in the land. :tongue2:

And, WV is still recruiting Ohio players that aren't even really on the Bucks' radar. That is to say, they are just not a top-tier team. A very good team last year and this, but untested and coasting. Rutgers is actually a top-notch defense, though, so that should be the more interesting game than Louisville.

Bucks vs. WV for the chamionship would be the easiest scenario I can imagine. The good guys would be favored by over 14.
