I love that it seems like each week we've been given an ACC or BigEast game on Thursday night to highlight in prime-time just how awful each conference is.

They said something earlier in the broadcast about the Boise's, TCU's, Utah's and the better mid majors watching this and saying "Hey, what gives? Why do they get a BCS bid in that conference!"

Well... wait a second, fellas... I figure WVU would be Boise State or TCU, etc. in those conferences too - that is to say, a WAC power, etc.

In any case - yeah, the better Mid Majors could probably compete just as well in the Big East (and ACC, for that matter) But.. the conferences they play in - they DO suck. LJB's proposal for massive conference re-alignment - and cutting off the suck - sounds better and better.

OK, there, there. Just anywhere but watching that vacuum-laden attempt at college football. It is clear that the Big East will not recover and that their automatic bid should be taken away. It is nothing more than a mid-major conference.
