Math is harder for some than others.JonathanXC;1264838; said:Wait. It is 4th and 2. Why would they call a timeout with 18 seconds left? You call it with 4 seconds left and go for one final play. I don't understand why they think they should have called a timeout. You call it with 18 seconds left, don't convert the 4th down, then Colorado gets the ball at midfield. I don't understand at all. ITS FOURTH DOWN!!!!! The clock doesn't matter.
Because that's just what they'd be expecting,.JonathanXC;1264838; said:Wait. It is 4th and 2. Why would they call a timeout with 18 seconds left? They are so wrong. If they had called time outs, then they would have had to punt, or go for it on 4th down and risk losing the ball with a lot of time left on the clock. Then Colorado, with it's timeouts, could have gone down the field and gotten in field goal range. Again..it was downs that got them, not the clock.

They can have 40 OT's and they won't make the over . :tongue2:BB73;1264843; said:I'm here - pulling for triple OT.
But if they had, then it would have just led to more time ont he clock on that 4th and 2.West Virginia did the right thing in running the clock to 4 seconds, but they did make a mistake in not using TOs earlier in the possession.
