West Va. 14, Colorado 17 (Final, OT)

Big 3rd down here to get momentum back on Colorado's side and Pat White in the shotgun looks to pass to DeVine. Was there any chance that play was going to go 10 yards for the first down? Gotta go downfield. Bad choice. Big stop by Colorado.

And then Colorado fields a punt at the 4. What an idiot.

You know...if my name was "Rod Stewart" I would definitely go by Rodney. Or maybe it's like that Michael Bolton thing from Office Space. Why should I have to change my name?!? But for real...every time I hear that Rod Stewart is running the ball...I laugh. And as I write this and Colorado is moving the ball, they fumble...but at least they recover it. COME ON BUFFS!

I don't agree...I don't think this is coaching. What about this team leads you to believe it is his fault? They just aren't that talented this year. Dick Rod left at the right time. They should make an exception and let two sub .500 teams play in a bowl this year. WVU vs. scUM would be fun to watch.
Not that talented? They still have Pat White. They still have Noel Devine. And they still have basically the same offensive line from last year. Slaton is gone, but he's basically replaced by Devine. Owen Schmitt couldn't have been the key to the offense, right?

I thought they were heavily overrated last year. Slaton and Schmitt are pretty dang good, and they are obviously missed. I'm just glad that Rich Rodriguez isn't the head coach of my team. That guy is like an infection. We could bomb the city he is in right now and do the world a favor.

He was a pretty big part in the games I watched. They also lost their best reciever.

Not a great punt by WV. They needed a bigger one there. Remember that Penn State game in 2002 where we won the game on great punting? Man I miss Andy Groom. I think he loved being a Buckeye as much as any player ever to run out of the tunnel.

Andy Groom was great. And Brent Bartholomew was my favorite Buckeye during the late 90s, sans Joe Germaine. Ohio State has a great tradition when it comes to punters.
