For Cornhuskers who want a quick synopsis of how Ohio State fans feel about the addition of Nebraska, search the "Big Ten Expansion" thread for your school or mascot name.

Welcome Nebraska.

I have always had respect for their program and fans. They have some of the classiest fans out there and Nebraska's program seems to be in good shape with Pelini at the helm. The big ten 10 just got tougher.

I wasn't in favor of expansion but since it is happening I'm glad the Nebraska Cornhuskers are filling that role. They're a quality addition to the conference, and I look forward to [strike]playing[/strike] beating them.

(Not official yet but I think it is a formality)

It has not sunk in for me yet. Selfish reasons I love it. A 6 hour ride from my place can get me to a majority of the BIG 10 venues. Another plus is that I'm not going to have drop $$ into PPV games in the near future. Still have to do it this year. I have spent 150 dollars on PPV the last two years.

Scheduling??

How quickly does Nebraska get phased in? I'm hearing it is going to be aggressive and we start in 2011. Ohio State has an opening on 9/24. How will they divide the conference to maintain rivalries but also still have competitive balance?

This might be asking too much but would it be possible for you guys to move Michigan to the Saturday after Thanksgiving so we can still play on that Friday? Not sure how picky you are on being the last big 10 game every year.

Academically this is a no brainer for UNL.

I've been on the rivals and the scout boards and other Big 10 universities are welcoming us. When this gets fired up I look forward to your input on the other schools.

OH HSKR FAN
