Cignetti coaches the game to get maximum performance and execution every play. Last year was Somewhat of a honeymoon. This year it appears he believes he will win it all and aims to destroy everyone he plays.

Cignetti's always frowny face schtick is getting old.

They have a lot of confidence carrying them right now, which can be dangerous (see: UM cheating confidence carrying them through the 2023 season). But, I think they can get knocked back down to earth because on the whole, their talent still doesn’t stack up. Problem is, no one before the championship/playoffs is capable of doing that unless Penn State pulls something out of their ass.

The SEC SEC SEC has basically morphed into the Big 12 from around the 2010 timeframe.

Decent-ish offenses which makes people who don't know better (ESPN primarily) hype them up as "unstoppable" but only 1 or maybe 2 of them give a singular shit about playing defense, so every time they play actual complete teams who can play both sides of the ball, they lose.
