Week 7 Games Discussion



During the broadcast, the announcers actually complained about the cold.

I wonder if that had an effect. Sometimes its hard to stay energetic if you're more worried about the cold. It also showed us that CU has a glass jaw - no matter the score, they can be worn down and beaten.

This was also CU's last truly winnable game on paper. I don't see them being favored again, even against Arizona.

This result also makes me think that USC is going to get curb stomped by Oregon but I don't gamble for a reason either :lol:

I don’t know that CU has a “glass jaw” so much as they obviously lack depth and see a significant drop-off when rotating in their second string D. Travis Hunter was visibly gassed in the second half, particularly after taking a couple more kill shots receiving. CU needs him 100% on defense, and to their detriment are overworking him on offense where they have way more skill options.

Makes me appreciate Tressel and Dantonios load management of Chris Gamble more.
