Week 5 Games Discussion

These scUM coaches...

So you dial up a scissor to the short side, coming out in 21. Your outlet is a TE on a leak to the boundary. So by the time your QB, who is young and struggling to throw, plants his back foot and is slow going read to rhythm, finally comes down to the leak... It's covered.

Not sure who the offensive coaches for the weasels are, but holy shit is that poor design.

Does anyone else think that playing cover 1 and playing base is the way to go vs this TCUN team? You can’t let them break a 30+ yard run but it happens every damn game

Safeties need to stay disciplined and not over commit (and tackle well) and you’ll keep those big runs from happening

They suck but opposing Ds keep bailing them out by doing dumb shit against simple run plays and giving them a couple 30+ yard runs a game

The year is 2033. 12th year senior Alex Orji completes a four yard screen pass. As the offense runs past the punt team back to the sideline, the scoreboard lights up as fireworks are set off behind it. It reads: "CONGRATULATIONS ALEX ORJI FOR 3,000 CAREER PASSING YARDS!"

The crowd rushes the field in celebration as the near-sighted referee throws a flag, blaming the defense for suddenly having more than 3,000 men on the field.
