This dude I've never heard of from LSU is one of the best WRs in college football, presumably because he plays for LSU. He did jack shit - surprise, surprise.

LSU really fucked themselves. They gave Cajun Gene Chizik an iron-clad contract that essentially renders him un-fireable for the foreseeable future. They’re finding out that magical 2019 season was all the Joe’s (Brady/Burrow) and they’re left with a buffoon head coach that they’re paying elite money to with one of the worst constructed buyouts in the history of contracts.

The refs should immediately signal touchback once they see the ball above the line. That would help.

So Herm Edwards has a guy try to field a punt that’s bouncing along the ground at his own 10-yard line with 8 seconds left on the clock before halftime. After a scramble, UCLA has the football at the 8 yard line with 4 seconds left. 3 free points for the Bruins.

The guy that scored on the Joe Pisarcik/Larry Csonka fumble in 1978 should know better, and teach his players not to do dumb things. Who cares if the ball rolls inside the 1 with a few seconds left?
