Week 5 Game Discussion Thread

Big games next week are Miami at Florida State and Vanderbilt at Alabama lol.

Those are the only ranked matchups.


Other interesting games:


Iowa State at Cincinnati

Illinois at Purdue (Purdue's offense is decent)

Kentucky at Georgia (UGA seems to struggle in this game for whatever reason)

Texas at Florida

Texas Tech at Houston

Mississippi State at Texas A&M

Well, perhaps he and Mike Gundy can reunite in Unhappy Alley if they fire Franklin.

Give Franklin credit for this: He didn't throw Aller or his team under the bus. He took the blame for the loss.

I think Ohio State will give him a second chance to be so magnanimous.

Hopefully Ped State used up all their voodoo magic of somehow making a game against a high end opponent closer than it shoulda been in this one

Thought it was a good game, trying to compare the hitting against tOSU v Washington game. Maybe a tad harder, but on same level. Oregon QB play was very good, Allar left me scratching my head. He's the main reason PSU selected (pre-season) to win it all. He still seems to through the INT at the wrong time, and the PSU running backs were 'handled' by the Oregon DL. Still, was surprised that Oregon was able to pull out the win during a 'white out'. And off topic, was pleased/surprised to see the Illini put it to USC.....

I was thinking this postgame...I actually think more of PSU than I did pregame, I thought they were gonna get handled, definitely didn't think they had the chops to come back from 14 down in the 4th.

Then I realized, it's not that, it's just my opinion of them has dropped severely after years of the hardest ceiling in sports.
