I'm pretty sure you'd get jailed for the water denial these days. But that was a thing in elementary 30 years ago

Oh I agree. It's just infuriating to see them get away with cheating, penalties, and low effort 1940s play calling and still win while being celebrated. It's like they sold their soul to the devil.

This is one of my big problems with all the recent clock rule changes. A team like Michigan can really shorten the game now to where depth on the better teams doesn't matter as much.

And it doesn't actually shorten the game. Just creates more time for awful reviews and commercials
