I had the same reaction, good for Indy to go out west and maybe get a road win against a Power Conference team.
And half a second later I realize “What’s the difference? It’s a conference game now.”

For the first few years games against the newcomers are going to be conference dick measuring contests.

For them probably.
But I don’t care much whether Indiana, Purdue, Iowa, Minny, NW’ern, Rutgers, Sparty, Nebby, Wiscy, Illinois, Maryland, U-Dub, UCLA, or Oregon do well in conference games - what is best for tOSU is the main concern for me.
I didn’t include USC or the Pedsters in that list because I think it’s generally better for tOSU if they aren’t battling for the top of the conference.
And obviously I didn’t include tCun because Fuck them always.
