Week 3 Games Discussion

Heisman Trophy odds watch: Matt Corral, CJ Verdell see their stocks go up while Bryce Young remains the favorite
Predicting the Heisman Trophy race after two weeks is no easy task, but Bryce Young is starting to solidify his spot as the current favorite.
Sep 16, 2021
Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss
Last week: 9-1; Current odds: 6-1
Corral threw five touchdowns on Saturday. He now has seven total touchdowns and no interceptions in two games. He has also racked up 662 passing yards. The Rebels visit Alabama on Oct. 2, which could be a meeting of the top two Heisman favorites and a chance for Corral to impress on a national stage.

Now after a solid 3rd game, this guy should be the new "Heisman frontrunner".......

Two weeks ago it was a disaster for the Pac 12 North.

This week it was the Pac 12 South’s turn to go 1-5.

USC went to Wazzu and got a solid road win, but that was it.

UCLA lost at home to Fresno St.
Arizona State lost at BYU.
Arizona lost to frickin’ Northern Arizona.
Colorado lost at home to Minny, 30-0.
Utah lost to San Diego State.

"Because a perennial power like Florida St..." Depends upon your definition of "perennial."
2011 - 2020 - 1 BCS 3 top ten
2000 - 2010 - 1 top ten
1990 - 1999 - 2NCs - 10 top ten
1980 - 1989 - 4 top ten
1970 - 1979 - 1 top ten
1960 - 1969 - 1 top ten
1954 - 1959 - 0 top ten
1905 - 1953 - college for Women

So Bobby Bowden, a couple of years of Jumbo Fisher, Bert Reynolds, and that's it.
