I could be remembering wrong but I think for the most part Whittingham's Utah teams would easily tear apart cannon fodder like WMU and UTEP. I guess he has never been handicapped by Bryce Underwood at QB though

College football is weird. Oklahoma trashed UTEP 51-0….the same UTEP team up 14-7 on Michigan late in the 2nd quarter. Make it make sense.

They just keep getting the lucky breaks and the B1G officials seem like they aren't holding up on shamelessly bailing them out when they need it anytime soon. They are a 7-5 tops level team that's probably going to end up stumbling into the game at 9-2 due to the incompetence they will get from a lot of their opponents

I have to say the big ten elites are not very elite right now. USC is in a 1 score game with Rutgers, Indiana up 7-0 at the half more or less, Oregon struggling (other than vs a shitty team)… maybe they aren’t as good as we think?
