Week 2 Games Discussion

Please let this happen. The hype machine and droves of bandwagon fans are unbearable around here.

I expect Colorado to still have some big struggles at times. Especially when they play the better Pac 12 teams. They looked a lot better than I thought they would but TCU honestly looks like a huge drop-off from last year (especially at QB) They might struggle to get 6-7 wins this year.

The Buffalos will still be "hung over" from celebrating their big upset win over TCU. I actually expect Corn to win this one.

Modest and respectful disagreement. I think Folsom Field is going to be FIRED UP for their home opener after what they saw last week.
Also, even if CU struggles to score, they are playing a far less competent offense in Nebraska.
I don't expect the Buffs to take a loss till they travel to Oregon at the end of the month.

I’d be surprised if Nebraska doesn’t make it a game. I think it’s been lost that Colorado had all off season to watch TCU and TCU had utterly no clue what to expect on either side of the ball.

We’ll see but I tend to think Nebraska is the more physical team when compared to TCU but they’re for sure less explosive. So can Nebraska just physical wear on Colorado a bit? Pick up first downs, run the ball, and rush the passer for example.

Sure would be nice to see Colorado lose though. Simply for Primes post game “how do you like me now” speech which is asking for it after just 1 game.

Let's see what happens if Venables really improves in his second year while Clemson continues to regress.

I think it's more complicated.
Venables steals signals. He cashed in on his ill-gotten reputation before everyone caught on.
That aside, going from DC to HC at a big name program usually results in the peter principle. It happens a lot. The Kirby Smarts are rare.

All in, i think Dabo is suffering from "god" no longer telling him what play the other team's offense is going to run.
