Week 2 Games Discussion

Off topic:

What happened to everyone? Usually this thread has 50+ pages, if I'm not mistaken. Is it just bc it's so early in the season?

I hope it's nothing else bc I like the changes made on the site.
I was wondering the same thing. Personally, I am cutting back on my viewership of college and pro football this season. I'm still salty about the replay officials overturning the targeting in the uga game and the fumble return against Clemson. Same with the officiating that cost the Bengals last year and in the stupid bowl. Kind of a weak connection between now and then, but maybe being detached through the regular season will mitigate the sickness next time it happens, and it will happen. So I check in here occasionally to help with the weening and keep abreast. So I can't comment; never really did much anyways, lol.

I will tune back in for the CFP if the Buckeyes are in, and the pro postseason if the Bengals make it in. Edit: But omfg, I wish I had watched at least some of last week's Clemson game.

Agree with the parts about cutting back... as unlike say an EPL game where it's 2 hours ... maybe 2 and a quarter at most.... vs 3+ hours and umpteen million commercials ....Just for the most part don't wanna devote that much time to the games unless its OSU..

I just wake up in time for games and go back to sleep for the rest of the year. But that is just me.

On a serious note.. it did seem like nobody was here (actually in the OSU feed and in this feed) in the 4th Q and I was talking to myself. And I know I was behind on the feed. You all that drunk? Don't care? off to other games? Just saying.

Arch Manning is waaaay overrated. He sucked in high school against poor competition.
I get it ... but whether you or I think he's overrated, all the vast majority of people know is "Manning", "#1 QB recruit", and "Looked great in practice". Also lets not discount the amount of NIL money ponied up to get him to Tejas, and never forget its the boosters who run Tejas football.
