Week 2 Games Discussion

Scott was also a proven commodity at the G5 level.
Rhule has a longer time doing it, but im not sold Scott was the issue - and he too inherited a clusterf from Riley.
Im not sold they could get 9 wins with Saban at or Urban this point.
Oh Corn is a dead program. I do not see a path to them being anything approaching their glory years, but I think Rhule might be able to at least get Iowa results...7-8 wins most years with an occasional 9 or 10 win outlier.

You are coming dangerously close to criticizing Knowles. Be careful.
Hartman is good. Not sure we're ready for this game.
They're already in a rhythm.
No we aren’t ready for ND I think and IMO it’s self inflicted. I don’t think anyone realizes how many reps Kyle missed by splitting all those reps.

The largest criticism I have with the defense is we seem extremely intent on not putting an extra LB on the field and we aren’t getting off the field on third down.

Looks like NC State is finding good success vs ND so I think we’ll be able to have some too. However I’m honestly extremely concerned with how few possessions we are getting. I think the concern is that we won’t get off the field vs ND.

Even though NCSt is making a game of this, i get that feeling Hartman is going to be a rude awakening for this defense.
I guess it's good to get that early though. The D has the pieces, but... we just seem to lack intensity and killer drive across the whole team.

IMO we just lack speed rush from the DEs. We get pressure from the DTs and the secondary has been wonderful minus Martinez’s big play allowed.

Just can’t get off the field which isn’t helping our offense find possessions

We haven't seen good passrush yet, but we've also been playing teams that keep QB involved in run game.
I guess there's hope they can finally tee off on a pocket passer. But i feel like he's going to get some points.
And McCord et al wont get a lot of opportunities. Need to convert 3rd down on both sides to win against ND.
