Tate got screwed by Urban retiring. He was the perfect QB to run Urban’s 2008 offense. Nobody runs that offense anymore after Venables proved it was stale in 2016.

And yet, Notre Dame's overtime win was OMG-it's-so-hard-to-win-on-the road to the media. After today's scintillating come from behind win over Toledo, the Domers will be ranked in the top five. The media are, in fact, that fucking stupid.

If the Toledo QB had gone down at the 1 inbounds with 1:35 left, they could have taken knees (ND had only 1 timeout) and put the ball in the middle of the field before calling timeout with 3 seconds left to try a game-winning FG from extra point range. Too bad his coach didn’t tell him that during the timeout before the play.
