This will of course be praised as “great offense” even though both defenses are garbage

I started this thread 12 years ago. The games I mentioned then are commonplace now.

When does "great offense" equal crappy defense?

So we gonna have any handwringing for Bama giving up damn near 50 to the only remotely good offenses they’ve played or nah?

This is why I'm not turning down a playoff spot due to fear of being blown out or something. Clemson and Bama are better teams right now, not hard to say that, but I'd argue both are clearly inferior to Clemson and LSU of last year.

Either game will be incredibly tough, but you take the chance because OSU has some damn fine players too and they might figure something out in the next 2 weeks.

Exciting finish to that game. Congrats to Luke Fickell for an undefeated regular season, a conference championship, and a top 10 finish. Did Dantonio or Kelly ever accomplish that at UC? Not that I can recall. And back then they were still in CUSA.
