Now if Herbie was actually good at his job, yeah the pass was deflected, but if Simpson had thrown it on time, it wouldn't have been in an area where it could have been deflected at all....but even 35+ years after his playing time is over, he still can't read a pass play correctly and it took Fowler to point out how late the pass was thrown.

They get killed here and go to 3 losses with one of them a very bad loss it’s hard to justify them at 10

They are very boom and bust. They play well and they can play with anyone except maybe the top few. But they can also lose to FSU

Think Texas Tech is quite a bit better than Bama if Bama played just an average game I could see BYU hanging around close enough to have a shot
