I saw this on twitter and agree... if Bama loses and gets left out... this is the end of the SEC Champ game....

I don't know. These games make the conference a ton of money. Same thing I think about Texas threat of cancelling next year and not scheduling strong OOC opponents in general. There has got to be enormous pressure from the networks (the true controllers of CFB at this point) to schedule these big games.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
