What they're showing is that even if you have the best QB you still can't let your opponent gain 7 yards every time they run on your defense.

Iowa CBs off man 5 yards, ball snaps, feet don't move until receiver starts to show his route and they close. We play off man and the moment the ball snaps we start back peddling, allow a 5 yard catch and then YAC when we whiff closing back after the catch. I swear our pass D and technique was so frustrating to me this year.
