Baylor won't get in because of losing to a 5-7 Texas Christian. Like Purdue...... there's no such thing as a "good loss" to Texas Christian.

It just is what it is. A bad, unnecessary loss. The CFP never looks favorably on stupid losses.

They wouldn't get in for multiple reasons, not being named "Notre Dame" is one of them.

Oregon’s loss to eventual 3-9 Stanford didn’t bother the committee when they were able to use the head-to-head result to put them ahead of tOSU. They choose the desired result and then come up with the reasons for it.
