Unfortunately I'd have to say you're probably right. I remember how God awful we were on offense back in the 1990s. At least those offenses were much more enjoyable to watch....but not for all the right reasons.

Mateer against the Buckeye defense would be like Buster Douglas actually losing the fight against Iron Mike. And I mean REALLY losing!

I just hate rematches (see UCLA 1976), especially the idea of a rematch with ND.

Oregon State beat Washington State 10-7 earlier this month. Today Washington State is beating Oregon State 13-0 in the 2nd quarter. If Washington State holds on and beats Oregon State today, do they play next week (again) for the PAC-2 Championship (i.e. best 2 out of 3).....
