Week 14 Game Discussion Thread

This is such a fascinating watch. The SEC and ESPN need aTm to win, except they also need Texas to win so they can get 19 teams into the playoffs. But also ESPN needs Arch to not be as terrible as he actually is, so they need to pimp him and have him do well. But they definitely also need aTm to be undefeated. But Texas needs a win more impressive than fucking Vandy.

And this is all coming from 2 directions instead of just the usual one. The Mannings are very obviously also applying the pressure. Who wins out?

If Texas holds on, it’ll be UGA-Bama in the SEC CCG, right? Assuming Bama wins the Iron Bowl.

Then they’ll sell the ‘Bama’s 3rd loss in a CCG shouldn’t drop them out‘ narrative.

aTm and Ole Miss will be in with 1 loss. UGA is in at this point, and so is Oklahoma if they beat LSU tomorrow. So Bama win or lose in the CCG would be the 5th team, and 3-loss Texas would be out. They won’t put Miami or Utah ahead of Bama.

Yep Bama taking a 3rd loss in the SEC title game it won't even be a question if they're in. Meanwhile if Texas Tech and BYU are playing in the Big 12 title game with 1 loss each they'll be advocating for the loser to drop out in favor of another SEC team
