For those not watching, he got a first down and the clock operator bled at least 5 seconds off the clock.

Then, after the next play is stopped short of the first down line (in danger of not being able to down it), the ref takes awhile to jog it over, set it, and as the ref awkwardly and slowly tries to squeeze into position, another ref blows the play dead with about 1.5 seconds left. Only to have Texas storm the field, and everyone just says, oh well, no one cares, let's go home.

They cheat bigger in Tejas too :)
