Not a good day for three QBs:
1) Florida State (Jordan Travis) carted off the field with serious leg injury.
2) Penn State (Drew Allar) leves game with injury. Allar suffered an undisclosed injury in the third quarter of Penn State’s 27-6 win. A hard hit to his right shoulder area forced Allar off the field and backup quarterback Beau Pribula into action.
3) Oklahoma (Dillon Gabriel) Oklahoma starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel suffered what coach Brent Venables described postgame as an "upper body injury" in the first half of the No. 14 Sooners' 31-24 win at BYU on Saturday and did not return. Gabriel appeared to be injured on OU’s final drive of the first half when BYU’s Talan Alfrey tackled him on second-and-goal from the 5. Alfrey’s tackle rolled Gabriel, bouncing the quarterback’s head off the turf at LaVell Edwards Stadium. With Arnold entering the game in relief, Oklahoma was forced to burn the redshirt for the touted freshman who signed with the Sooners as a five-star prospect, according to 247Sports, in the 2023 cycle.
