Week 12 Games Discussion

Had a girl hurt herself pitching this last summer - torn ACL, MCL, meniscus, hyperextension of the knee, torn patellar tendon and a partial dislocation of the kneecap - on what looked like a normal pitch. She threw it, went down and screamed. I went back and looked at the video and everything looked the same as the previous pitches. Sometimes with knees, you just can't tell.

Holy shit. Yeah there have been a few times were I've watched games and injuries don't look like much but are season enders.

Fields had 2 of the opposite. Knee injury against TTUN (still have no idea how he didn't tear basically everything after that hit) and the spearing by the Clemson LB. Thought he had broken some things right afterwards. Didn’t look near 100% in the NC, but still played through it. He's basically a superhuman.

The knee wasn't actually touched by the tackler. Seems like overuse could be the culprit.
My understanding is he's a chronic over trainer also so his body will not last long enough to be a pro if he gets drafted. Knee pain can be excruciating but I could walk on my meniscus tear. Who knows what it'll end up being.

It's probably my intense bias, but how high school is it that the Michigan players celebrate flags while on defense. It's like they're all whiny bitch ass coaches begging for a call. I wonder where they could have learned such a thing.
They were cheating their asses off on defense by shouting snap counts to make the oline jump… rules guy says it’s okay as long as they’re not mimicking the snap count… like it was clear that they weren’t.

I legit thought SCUM ended Fields's career with that hit. That shit looked NASTY. Fitting he basically puts on a knee brace and Tussin' on it and balls out even more afterwards.
