Last year’s matchup between these teams was truly one of the weirdest games I’ve ever watched. It featured a flea flicker on the first play, 8 fumbles, 2 INTs (1 pick 6), 3 unsuccessful onside attempts (1 returned for TD), a safety, a combined 5/6 on 4th down conversions, touchdowns of 59, 48, 48, 65, 70, 27, 32, and 31 yards, and OSU led by 19 with 4 minutes left only to need a 4th down conversion with 1:33 remaining to hold off Tech.

Cristobal/Moorhead got greedy and had the offense take two deep shots (both incomplete) then just ran on 3rd and 10. Wittingham called TO with 11 seconds left to force the punt, which Utah returned for a TD.

But they never would have lost to 3-7 Stanford if Moorhead hadn’t missed that game. :sneaky:
