Week 11 Game Discussion Thread

6 straight L's for Penn St. I seriously think I might cry if we ever lost 6 in a row

The most frustrating thing for them has to be losing 5 of those games by a total of 16 points. I’d rather not be invested and crushed in all those games. Also I don’t think they’re much worse without Allar, if at all. Grunkmyner isn’t great but already looks like he has a better feel for the position.

And I know the transitive property is dangerous, but it’s telling that PSU played 3 of the conference’s best to such tight games and lost by 24 to OSU in a game that wasn’t that close.

And, all else remaining the same in the PSU-IU game, the Pedsters would have won if Kaytron Whatshisname hadn't fumbled on their own 20 yard line late in the first half.

WHAT A WAY TO LOSE

Let's take a quick trip to Big Sky Country, where FCS No. 2 Montana stayed unbeaten in about the stupidest way possible. Eastern Washington quarterback Jake Schakel got the Eagles within 29-24 thanks to a touchdown pass with 1:01 remaining, and EWU recovered the ensuing onside kick. The Eagles were at the Montana 9-yard line with no timeouts and the clock dwindling when all hell broke loose. Schakel attempted to spike the ball to stop the clock with about 6 seconds left, but the ball slipped out of his hand before he could do so. Time ran out while the players battled to recover the fumble, ending the game.
