So who are we pulling for in the UGA-Tenn matchup? I think I want UGA to lose. But if Tenn wins Hooker will probably win the heisman over CJ.

I don’t think it’s certain that just a victory will hand Hooker the Heisman, but this week is BY FAR the biggest threat to CJ’s Heisman left in the regular season.

Simply winning does give Hooker a very good chance of having a last audition for the voters on conference championship weekend, and that’s significant. But a memorable performance in a time slot that is otherwise devoid of compelling games could very well cement the Heisman for Hooker unless CJ does something bigger against TTUN and exceeds that the next week vs Illinois.

I’d much rather see the UGA defense utterly destroy Hooker’s chances and have the rest of the season just be a coronation for CJ. I’d love for him to win the triple crown.
If it comes down to just comparing Heisman moments, that gives the regional voters all the reason they need to stick with loyalties born in the middle of the 19th century
