As cringe as it is, gotta root for Clemson this week.

If ND beats them without Lawrence, wins out, but loses to them in the ACC title game. Theres a strong chance they still put ND in the playoff. (I dont think ND beats a fully/close to it healthy Clemson team)

Of course this could be a good thing if Ohio State were to be the #1 seed, but they arent getting the #1 seed over unbeaten Bama.

I agree about pulling for Clemson. If ND wins now and Clemson wins the rematch, the committee will make Bama #1 and ND #4, assuming the top-4 have no other losses.

I’m torn. I agree that this is a possibility. But my gut tells me that if the Domers pull out a W this week and there is a rematch, full strength Clemson will roll them in the title game and take them out of consideration. Also, a Domer win this week won’t look strong given the sample size of Lawrence-less games is likely going to be 2 and the BC game showed Clemson is a different team with Barbie at the helm.

On the flip side, if Clemson wins this week and then gets caught sleeping at the wheel against ND in the title game, they are assuredly going to get a mulligan.

That may have been the worst FG attempt I've ever seen.
