Week 1 Games Discussion

Notre Dame played to their talent level and won? Are you aware you just said the number 9 teams talent level is beating an unranked team by 3?

Those words they don't mean what you think they do

ND is limited on offense...like they seem to always be. They're Stanford with better athletes at a number of positions and a very good RB. But they should've won this game by 14+ with how bad FSU's offense is.

Not sure if it's their DL or what, but if this FSU team is gashing you like that, it's not a good sign.

What the fuck... I've never heard a coach say that.

Should get fired for that but I guess a twitter apology will suffice.
Tried to be funny by stealing a John McKay quote from the 70s.
McKay was the Head Coach at Tampa Bay when they were a brand new expansion team and they were winless. During a post game presser, a reporter asked McKay what he thought about his teams execution and McKay's response was "I'm all in favor of it".
Purple Face completely botched it and it was really cringy.

Really shouldn’t pull that one out when you’ve, you know, actually killed a kid either
At least McKay was lobbed a softball in the form of a question, “What do you think of your teams’ execution?”

Kelly went out of his way to twist it, and given his history he really should not have.

EVERY CFB writer/broadcaster I follow on Twitter is on it, and I follow a lot.

There are going to be repercussions. CFB sportswriter Twitter is knives out for Kelly’s head right now.
