My "favorite crap" that I got for my wedding included a Silver Plated thing that looks like something you'd keep a scroll in for our marriage certificate...
You could barely see the glue on the Package from the giant "Clearance Special-99% Off" sticker that was on it."
Also- stuff that people who don't really know you get you stuff that is well intended but pretty ridiculous... Such as, My Great Aunt, who lives in Montana got us this giant Candle holder thing with a Buffalo on it (That looked like a Native American type thing)... I guess it was a nice thought... but I live in OHIO, not decorate my house with Western Wild Game Land.
My favorite thing was selected by my "Step Sister in Law" (For lack of a better term)... now you have to realize that my Step Brother and his wife are very religious... and also that I had only met her once in my life before this... (and my Father is pretty religious, so I guess she made an assumption) So she gets us this giant media pack entitled [something to the effect] "Marriage: Your New Journey with Jesus" And it had audio tapes and a VHS tape and some other literature in it... maybe a CD-ROM too. I think my step brother must have died laughing when she brought that in the door... so along with it was a board game called, "Sex, Booze, and Rock n' Roll" These having been my principal interests when I actually saw my Step Brother occasionally.... so I'll give him credit, but likely this concept didn't fit all that well either... at least theoretically.
