As the results of one of the better regular season Saturdays developed, Buckeye fans were once again treated to an extra dose of joy at the hands of those who like to talk sh*t. Shall we take a look back at recent events?

1. Sept. 7 - Ohio State at Virginia Tech.

Hokie QB Michael Brewer plays a gutty first half against the top ranked Buckeyes, once again doing his best Montana impression in his attempt to navigate the Buckeye secondary with pinpoint accuracy. But things weren't quite as easy as his first go-round in Columbus last season. Having taken some hits from an aggressive and more seasoned defense this year, Brewer found himself on the turf quite a bit, but nothing was going to stop him that night...

What happens next? Well as the video shows, 2 plays later Brewer was knocked out of the game.

Note - This is not to make light of a kid's injury, but in a thread that will focus on sweet sweet schadenfreude, this is too hard to pass up. Best of luck to the tough SOB in his recovery. Good kid and player.

2. Apr. 15 - Notre Dame Spring Press Conference

“I would take our two over Ohio State’s, but in terms of depth, I don’t know that anybody has a better situation than we do with the two quarterbacks that we have.” - Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly

What happens next? QB Everett Golson transfers to Florida State and in the 2nd game of the season, starting QB Malik Zaire suffers a broken ankle and goes down for the season. Good luck, Brian.

*Again, not making light of Malik's injury, but my oh my did that comment come back to hurt.

Speaking of that...

3. Sept. 9 - SEC Coaches Weekly Teleconference

"I spent a lot of time in that other conference,"Bielema said of the Big Ten during the SEC teleconference Wednesday. "Ohio State's ranked No. 1 and they have one game remaining on their schedule that has anybody ranked right now — Michigan State. We're going to play eight straight opponents that are ranked." - Arkansas Head Coach Bret Bielema

What happens next? 3 days after his concern over Ohio State's schedule, Bielema leads his Hogs to an embarrassing upset at the hands of Toledo - a MAC team from the state of Ohio doing the Lord's work this Fall Saturday, much like another memorable time (That School Up North).

Perhaps a lesson to be learned here, people.
