zincfinger said:I'd agree with that as far as the Michigan game goes; you look at a 43-10 score and assume it was an ass-whoopin' if you didn't see the game. But what I don't get is this: how does a lazy writer look at a 27-6 box score and conclude that the team with 27 points had barely enough offense to get by?

"Mighty Michigan pounds on highly touted Irish 7-6! MIchigan's powerful offense manages over 100 yards for the second straight game."
"Rebuilding OSU squad squeaks by MAC cellar-dweller Marshall in a lucky 40-3 win, showing anemic offense and adequate defense. Dirty OSU players injure Marshall QB with a cheap shot commonly refered to as a 'tackle'."
:p
This is the reason the polls are always so biased, no one really sees every team play or checks the box score, they go by just the highlights on tv and the final score, its so sad sometimes.....<HR style="COLOR: #888888" SIZE=1> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->
"Michigan (1-0) Even with true freshman Chad Henne calling signals, Wolverines didn’t miss a beat in a 43-10 win over Miami (OH).
Ohio State (1-0) Same old Buckeyes. Ohio State got terrific play from its defense and just enough offense to stifle Cincinnati and former defensive coordinator, Mark Dantonio."
Damnit, Bobcat! I was gonna send some positive rep points your way for that, but you have it disabled.BrutusBobcat said:This week's CFN game summaries:
