I have a feeling that they will be showing all the Ohio State games that aren't already nationally broadcast.

Homo. (Thump was too slow)Steve19 said:OK. I did it. Although I have an awful sense of dread and suspect that the two Buckeye games on their front page will be the only Buckeye games they show, I am gonna watch the Buckeyes. I have to admit, just saying that almost brings me to tears. Go ahead Thump, let it rip!:!
Thanks. I needed that! And, boy am I gonna. I actually keep getting goosebumps all over. This is REALLY gonna be something.BB73 said:Homo. (Thump was too slow)
Please note that this ESPN-waiver only applies to those living on continents besides North America. Enjoy the games, Steve!

Shut up already.kinch said:I hate my position on all this:
I will get, probably, most the ABC games in NY as the Big Ten is the closest meaningful conference to the Northeast in appeal/location (I guess ACC is closer-- but it is a different citizenship, more midwesterners here or something).
So I may not get, say, half the games.
But- stupid weird stations here usually show a couple more (like the Mets channel or the Yankees channel or Fox Sports Atlantic/Pacific/etc., and weird NY sports channels).
Point is: I may get half or all, and I don't know until gameday. One year I got them all. . .
What the fuck should I do? (other than shut up already :) )
I am thinking of buying gameplan. (oh yeah, and no ESPNU here).
I'll drink to that --BB73 said:Shut up already.
Your other option is sports bars. I usually get all but 2 of the Buckeye games, and I go to a sports bar with dozens of TVs to watch multiple games at once.
By doing this I'm subsidizing drinking more than ESPN.
Am I correct that DVD's from the states will actually play anywhere if correctly written? - -someone who rated themselves geek of the century can answer thisSteve19 said:A friend just alerted me to the fact that ESPiN is showing at least two Ohio State games on the Internet. I looked and it is true. Access costs $99 for the season and the first and third games of the season, at least, are shown.
I don't know what to do. I know that you guys stateside have no problem with watching the game on ESPiN, but it somehow seems wrong to pay them anything for anything. On the other hand, I want to see the Buckeyes really badly.
The special price ends on 2 September.
So, what should I do guys?
