Watch out, The Vegas...

The Most Power-Drunk
...here I come! Flight leaves today at 8:30. My father decided he wanted to go (spur of the moment), and decided he wanted me to go with. For those of you who know his situation, this is a very good thing. He's doing very well, and this trip will only help him. Now then, having never been to the Vegas, I need advice from those who have.

Where are the best poker rooms? I'm talking lesser expensive stuff. I would love to get into a true Texas or Omaha tournament, but probably no more than a $250 buy-in. Outside of that, I imagine I'll play a lot of limit stuff ($5/$10). Additionally, I don't necessarily want to go up against the best, or the worst, players that the Vegas has to offer. I've heard Harrah's is good, but don't really know.

What, outside of gambling, is a "can't miss"? Thoughts? Recommendations?

Have no fear, hookers and strippers will be paid well...I'm looking for advice outside of the bitches.

If you want a good cheep meal go to Ellis Island (1 block down the road between the Flamingo and Bally's. Prime rib meal and a beer for $8. If you want a good expensive meal and can eat a lot go to the Champagne Brunch at the Aladdin. That was the best spread I've ever had. I wonder why I'm a fat ass. :p As far as gambling I can't help you. The only reason I gambled at all was to get free drinks. BTW, only get beer while you're gambling because they water down the drinks.

you forget that I am THE dorman and that I will not allow you back in without viewing those pics.

Sorry I can't add anything else to this thread. The farthest I've been from Ohio is Indianapolis.

But if you were the doorman there would have to be a secret underground hideout somewhere and everyone knows that just isn't true.

Hey, the new second part of the secret handshake is now in effect isn't it?

Somebody's serious about food when 'the best spread' he ever had was a buffet.
