Loky is right... Mote Marine is an incredible place. If you're ever in the area, I'd definitely recommend you stop in. If you see nothing else, check out the giant squid. The ocean really is the last upexplored wilderness.


As for the video, it looks like it was a trained trick because the dolphin "retreated" on the trainers whistle and she rewarded him with several fish. Either way, funny stuff.

My wife and I went to Mote Marine last October while visiting my Dad in Bradenton. The place was very cool -I was impressed with the amount of 'rehab' type stuff they do there, especially with sea turtles.

As far as the giant squid, it reminded me of Vladimir Lenin for some reason.
