Washington St. Cougars (Official Thread)

There are threads for talking about COVID, the vaccine, and all other issues involving public policy.

None of them are in this forum.
Washington State fired their head football coach because he refused a vaccine, and now that coach is suing Wazzu. I think it's plainly obvious that this is an appropriate place for a conversation which centers on Wazzu football but also happens to involve vaccines (or the lack thereof). It's one thing to relocate or suppress directly politically-oriented talk, and obviously people want to bring politics into everything, but this is not an inherently political discussion. That's a slippery slope to sequestering all the dildo threads in the Romper Room.

Let’s not discuss the Rolovich case in this thread.

I don't see any reason why this thread should be different.

Feel free to try to tell me a reason.

If you do it in this thread I'll move it to somewhere it belongs and then I might respond at the new location or I might not.

I don't really care about this issue beyond the core philosophical issue (which has nothing whatever to do with the vaccine); I doubt anyone else here cares about that at all, so best I just keep the board (and my own nose) clean.

This whole business of making vaccination a political issue or one of "personal choice" annoys me greatly.

When my 1-year-old arms got turned into pincushions, I don't recall anyone asking me if my religion or political views prevented me from getting jabbed.

I don't remember shit from when I was 1 year old.

Then again, I'm not quite sure of what happened earlier this year so take it for what it's worth.

They can talk about it in here, there’s just about no other reason to care about a Wazzu thread.

Are you from California, Connecticut, Maine, Mississippi, New York, or West Virginia? If not, then your parents were asked.
