I never got close enough to that group to know, but the Tomato guy from Slidell did say A stick up their Collective asses.
and he seems like the type to have first hand info on that type of thing, so I'm taking his word for it.

I remember it being suspicious at the time but kind of ignored it. Stuff about how he would hold the shotgun to do it.

But the documentaries that have come out in the last 10 years... oof. Timelines don't line up at all. Handwriting on the suicide note is inconsistent. My only conclusion is that Seattle PD is incompetent as hell.
