Washington 24, Cal 31 (FINAL OT)

UW QB out for the season due to foot surgery

With Isaiah Stanback out for the season, this game looks to be a bigger asswipping than I had earlier though. Go Cal.................neuter the Dawgs!!!!

The Washington team that was a last-play score away from beating the Trojans makes this an interesting wager, but the team that lost by ten at home to Oregon State (who lost by 28 to Boise State and 28 to California) makes me think the Dawgs are on the decline.

Between your lips and God's ears! The Husky beast that was threatening to have a good season must be slain!

Go Bears! (and go by enough points for me to win this bet)

Cal's defense has been playing great (at least two interceptions in the few minutes I've seen), but their offense smoked out a bit too hard last night. Washington got a big strike over Syd'Quan Thompson, the guy who got beat over and over against Tennessee.

Can't say that there is a Pac-10 team that impresses me this year. At least in regard to the National Title. Both Cal and USC are eminently beatable, if it doesn't happen in conference then the bowl opponent will do it.
