Was 2014-2018 the best 5-year stretch or are we in it now?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Was 2014-2018 the best five-year stretch in Ohio State football history? A national championship, wins in the Rose, Cotton, Fiesta and Sugar Bowls and a 62-7 record.

Or are we in it now? 2021-2025: A national championship, 2 Rose Bowl wins, a Cotton Bowl win, a 58-8 record with more forthcoming this year?

When this team beats the fuck out of those cocksuckers on saturday, they will be in the discussion for the "Best Buckeye Team Ever". If they can go 16-0 I feel this is the best 5 year stretch ever.

I may be the crazy guy Saban is talking about, but a losing record against the team up north is an automatic disqualifier for a five-year stretch to be called the ‘best ever’

Exactly my thought. Maybe last year will be the beginning of the best 5-year stretch, but time will tell.
Also, I don't know much about 1955 or 1956, but national championships in 1954 and 1957 mean that that period should be in the discussion.

Why not 2012-2016?

38-7-2 from 1954-1958, two Rose Bowl wins, the national championship in 1954. I'm seeing 9-0 Auburn listed at the national champion in 1957 with 8-1 Ohio State finishing second.
